Match Notes

Terry Geary was sent off for fighting in the 31st min of the 1st half.

In the 2nd half David Hodge dislocated 4 fingers and was replaced by Ross Gibson & Phil Ryan injured a shoulder and was replaced by Reg Walton, Mike Stephenson was carried off with concussion just before Penrith scored their last try.

Peter Fitzgerald left the field midway through the 2nd half due to the flu and was replaced by Brian Wood.

St.George lead 19-0 before Penrith scored 5 converted tries in the last 15 mins.
