Biography

Newtown forward played for NSW in 1959 and again in 1962 while playing for Dubbo. Harris later played for Souths and Penrith during the club's debut season. He went on to take over as Panthers’ coach in 1975 when Mick Stephenson stood down. Harris carried on the following season with limited success before retiring.

    He coached Bankstown 2nd division in the early 1970*s !!

    Barry was later president of the Canterbury-Bankstown Junior Rugby League. Also coached reserve grade at Balmain in 1977.
