Biography

Penrith junior was a 19-year-old centre in the club's Amco Cup final side in 1974. Named the club's ‘Player of the Year’ in 1975, Gigg floated between the grades in the late 1970s before moving to Lithgow. He then returned to the Panthers in 1984 and registered his best season in grade before retiring to take on the role of Penrith RL Assistant Manager. Gigg rose to the position of assistant club secretary but was replaced by Don Feltis in 1990 and moved to Perth where he spent time as State Chief Executive of Rugby League.
