Match Notes
Arthur Beetson was replaced after 61 mins due to leg muscle & fatigue and replaced by Ian Baker soon after Graham Gardiner suffered a cheekbone fracture and was replaced by Laurie Frier then in his first tackle Frier injured an ankle and had to be carried from the field leaving Easts with 12 men for the rest of the game.
Graeme Sams replaced Peter Fitzgerald for St.George at halftime due to concussion, late in the 2nd half Grahame Bowen injured his knee and was replaced by Harry Eden.
