Biography
Cronulla junior was graded by St George in the mid-1960s. Bowen was a prop in Jack Gibson's 1971 grand final team that lost to Souths but later made his mark as a hard-working forward with the Sharks. His effort under a fitness cloud in the 1973 grand final against Manly did much to keep Cronulla in the match.

Loved the sharkies and wanted nothing more then to see them win a premiership. He past several months before it was realised. Vale to a great mate and a decent human being.
