Biography
A member of a famous footballing family from the South Coast, Kevin Goldspink played in the 1967 grand final for C’bury before gaining selection for the Kangaroo tour. The hard-working second-rower played in 13 matches on tour but did not appear in a Test match. Goldspink later captain-coached Collegians in the I’warra competition after serving two seasons with Easts.

Was an absolute bolter of a selection for the 1967 Kangaroo tour of Britain.

Kevin was in the Police Force stationed at Wollongong and in 1974. he coached an Illawarra Amateur League that played games against Group Six and Group 14. I was also in the Police force at the time and played in that team and he became a good friend. Top bloke and great footballer. Last I heard he owned a pub out in the bush.

I work with his grandson riley, an amateur rugby league player for the Alexandria Rovers. He was part of the premiership winning team of 2024, the first to win since 1990. He is a lawyer at MinterEllison and is engaged to a wonderful woman called Mia.
