Match Notes
Easts lost Ron Coote on Thursday with Barry Reilly moving to lock & & Ian Mackay in the 2nd row then on Friday Reilly withdrew with a hip injury & was replaced by Pat Kelly. Mark Harris dropped out of the team on Saturday with neck & shoulder injuries he was replaced Harry Cameron.
Barry Andrews suffered an ankle injury late in the 1st half and was replaced by Greg Pierce at lock with Chriss Wellman moving to 5/8.
John Brass injured a shoulder in the 1st half and was replaced by Les Hayes at halftime.
