Biography

Easts prop played in the club's two grand final victories in 1974-75. An underrated attacking player with a high work-rate, Mackay represented Australia in the World Series competition in 1975.

    I first saw ian play for the paddington colts,he was head and shoulders above the rest! another easts jnr to make the big time,thanks mate.

    I Rememberd Mickey Plant And Ian Mc Kay Playing For The Padding Colts 1972 Micky went to Wide Bay QLD Ian To Munmorah Maulers

    I played Sqaush with Ian in the 1990's at Wyoming squash courts on the Central Coast.

    He was a very good player.
