Peter Moscatt replaced Kel Brown in the Easts team & Mike Cleary withdrew with a groin muscle injury and was replaced by Jim Porter following Thursday training. Arthur Beetson suffered a knee injury in the City V Country game on Saturday and was replaced by Don Colquhoun with Goldspink moving to the front row.
Peter Archibald replaced Terry Scurfield in the early in the 2nd half due to an ankle injury, John Wilson then injured a hamstring and was replaced by Laurie Wakefield.
