John Peard withdrew from the Easts team following Friday training with a swollen leg, John Ballesty moved from centre to 5/8 with Cliff Boyd coming into the centre.
Alan Burwell was replaced at halftime due to a corked thigh by Rod Jackson with Graham Tucker moving to 5/8, John Rhodes to the centre & Jackson to the wing, late in the 2nd half Wayne Peckham replaced John Armstrong.
Kel Brown left the field after 10 mins with a rib injury and was replaced by Peter Moscatt.
