Match Notes
Laurie Bruyeres withdrew from the game due to an injury and was replaced by reserve referee Clive Edwards.
Rex Murphy replaced Owen O'Donnell who was dropped on Thursday night training for disciplinary reasons. Barry Glasgow was a late withdrawal from the centre he was replaced by John Booby at fullback with Laurie Moraschi moving to centre.
Phil Franks was sent off midway through the 1st half for a high tackle and later suspended for 2 matches, Dave Bridgewater replaced Noel Cavanagh with an injured knee in the 2nd half.
