Match Notes
Rod Urquhart dropped out of the Cronulla team following a training injury on Friday when he injured his leg and was replaced by John Maguire.
Tommy Bishop left the with head injuries 9 mins from fulltime and was replaced by Fred Dennehy.
Merv Hicks left the field with a broken arm an injury he carried into the game and was replaced by John Payne, John Grew & Ross Warner were both sent off within a minute of each other late in the game both for high tackles.
