Biography
Bundaberg forward came to Brisbane Brothers in the mid-1960s. Cavanagh played for Queensland in 3 matches in 1965 before touring NZ with the Australian side. A goal-kicking second row forward, he signed with Norths in 1968 and spent the 1969-70 off-season with Bradford Northern in England. Cavanagh returned to Bundaberg as captain-coach in 1973.
