John Brass dropped out of the Easts team on Friday with an injury and was replaced by Harry Cameron.
Canterbury lost Geoff Connell on Thursday with a number of injuries and was replaced by John McDonell with Dennis Manteit taking the captaincy.
In the 2nd half Easts replaced Barry Reilly with a knee injury & Peter Moscatt a corked thigh with John Armstrong & Kel Brown.
