Biography

Former Canterbury clubman won a reserve grade premiership as coach in 1971. Clift went on to coach the club's first grade team during the 1970s, the high point being a grand final appearance in 1974. He also spent an unsuccessful season as G’Coast coach in the shadow of Wally Lewis in 1991 before returning to the Bulldogs to assist Chris Anderson.
