Ken Maddison pulled out of the St.George team with an ankle injury and was again replaced by Mick Dryden.
Ron Raper & Wayne Peckham dropped out of the Canterbury team midweek with ankle & shoulder injuries and were replaced by Steve Calder & Graham Tucker.
Ross Strudwick left the field in the 1st half with a rib injury and was replaced by Mark Shulman, Dennis Preston replaced Geoff Carr in the 2nd half due to a hamstring injury.
Bill Noonan replaced Dennis Manteit in the 2nd half who injured his shoulder.
