Penrith lost Bob Landers & Dave Applebee before the game they were replaced by Mal McMartin & Paul Gibson, Bob Boland dropped out of a 14 man Penrith team with Rod Elliot moving to prop.
Phil McCarroll was scheduled to referee this game but was replaced by reserve grade ref Jack Harris.
Phil Franks replaced Ian McKechnie after 10 mins of the 1st half.
