Match Notes
Balmain lost Peter Boulton due to an ankle injury he sustained in the NSW Colts v Great Britain games the previous Tuesday he was replaced by Phil Carey.
Jim Mills was sent off 5 minutes before halftime for a high tackle on Dave Bolton, Bolton did not return to the field after halftime he was replaced by Peter Fardell.
Brian Norton replaced Glen Whitney early in the 2nd half due to a shoulder injury, Norton then injured his leg and was replaced by Dick Harris.
