Biography

Former Grafton hooker was playing in only his second top-grade match when the Tigers recorded its 11-2 win in the grand final against Souths. Boulton, who made his debut against Manly in the final the previous week, produced a heady display against Souths' international rake Elwyn Walters in the grand final. The following year he was a rep for NSW Colts against Great Britain but missed most of the 1971 season with a knee injury.
