Match Notes
Dick Thornett dropped out of the Parramatta team from the 14 man team Barry Leaney moved to 2nd row, Bill Jones to prop and John McMartin hooker.
Leaney withdrew at halftime due to a shoulder injury and was replaced by Mike Jones.
John Wittenberg pulled out of the St.George team the morning of the game failing to backup from the City v Country game his place was taken by Dennis O'Callaghan who play 2nd row with Toga moving to prop.
Tony Branson suffered a shoulder injury in the first half and was replaced just before halftime by Peter Fitzgerald with Johnny Raper moving to 5/8 & Fitzgerald at lock.
