Norm Henderson coached Cessnock in 1972 winning the compitition that year with a very young side in what was then a very strong newcastle competition. He coached two more years before
passing away in august 1975 from a brain tumor.
Norm was a fine player and great leader on the field, representing newcastle and country from Cessnock. Norm is well remembered and respected by the Cessnock community. Rest in Peace.

Norm Henderson was a legend for the coalfields, putting Cessnock back on track for making Cessnock a major force in the Newcastle competition once again // He will never be forgotten.
