Match Notes
Paul Sait withdrew from the Souths team on Thursday and was replaced by Darrel Bampton, Gary Stevens withdrew on Saturday morning due to a hamstring injury he was replaced by Herbie Timms.
Canterbury lost Nev Hornery with an ankle injury & Norm Thomas a leg injury on Thursday they were replaced by Dennis Manteit & Henry Tatana with Bill Noonan moving from prop to hooker.
In the 2nd half Alan Burwell left the field with a toe injury and was replaced by Ron Raper with Dennis Scahill moving to 5/8.
