Match Notes
Mal McMartin withdrew from the Penrith team mid week and was replaced by Paul Gibson, John Moran also withdrew through injury on Friday with Ern Gillon his replacement.
Nev Hornery left the field early in the 1st half with a dislocated shoulder he was replaced by Dennis Beeby, Terry Reynolds was sent off after 22 minutes for kicking Ron Raper then in the 2nd half Norm Thomas was replace by reserve grade half back Bruce Conneeley.
Dave Applebee was sent off in the final minute of the match for a high tackle.
Reynolds was suspended for 2 games & Applebee for 3.
