Match Notes
Barry Beath dropped out of the St.George side on Friday still suffering from an ankle injury and was replaced by Apisai Toga. They then lost all 5 of their test players following Saturday's test match in Brisbane Langlands, King, Hawthorne, Smith & Wittenberg they were replace by Preston, Gorton, Branson, Strudwick & Fitzpatrick.
In the first tackle of the game Apisai Toga suffered concussion and was replaced by Ted Walton.
Bill Noonan replaced Barry Phillis at halftime.
