Match Notes
Mike Cleary suffering from a slight groin strain was replaced by Brian James in the South team following Thursday training.
Easts lost Louis Neumann with a back injury & John Walker with an ankle problem they were replaced by Graham Mayhew & Trevor Fanning in the starting lineup.
Bill Mullins fractured ribs early in the match and was replaced by Alan Gill, John Peard replaced John Brass at halftime suffering from concussion.
