After a football finished Jim entered a successful career in the rugby league judiciary , law ,overseas football etc then being one of the initial founders of the Non for profile organisation Men of League , He still is active in an organisation Sporting Hope who assist men and women and their families from all sporting backgrounds within the Port Stephens community

I had a little bit to do with Jim when I worked for Mission Australia and we tried to get an alliance with Men Of League, A wonderful man, and an ornament to our great game.
