Biography
Welsh rugby union halfback (represented Wales ‘B’ team) turned professional to play for Warrington from 1990-95. In 1992 he toured Australia and NZ with the Lions but made his sole Test appearance against France. After a season in Nth Queensland’s debut year, in which he played reserve grade, and a less than successful move to the Gold Coast, Ellis returned to England to play for Widnes and Workington Town. Ellis played for Wales on 12 occasions, including the 1995 World Cup.
