Danny Shearer & Lloyd Weier were late withdrawals for Norths they were replaced by Keith Russell & Paul Hancock with Brian Norton moving to prop.
Ross Warner injured a rib cartlidge midway through the 1st half and was replaced by Warren Chatfield with Jim Schroder moving to hooker then at halftime Col Greenwood was replaced by John Snedden due to concussion with John McDonell moving to lock.
Brian Norton was sent off for a high tackle on Graeme Langlands
