Tim Sheens was a late withdrawal with a leg injury and was replaced by Terry Geary.

Penrith lost Steve Snell late in the 1st half with an ankle injury he was replaced by Bruce Ward then in the 2nd half Geoff Bracken injured a shoulder and was replaced by Gary Harvey.
