Match Notes
Phil Smith withdrew from the Souths team on Friday with a knee injury Ross Birrell moved from wing to centre with Tom Mooney coming in on the wing.
Barry McTaggart withdrew from the Balmain team on Thursday with an ankle injury and was replaced by Vic Querin.
Elwyn Walters injured his knee early in the 2nd half and was replaced by Tom Lyons.
Tim Murphy injured a hamstring in the 1st half and was replaced by Russell Worth who played half with Jeff Shield moving to 5/8, Geoff Starling also left the field late in the 1st half with a hamstring injury and was replaced by Wayne Thomson.
