Match Notes
Ron Coote was a late withdrawal for Easts with Kevin Stevens moving to lock, Bob Fulton to 5/8, Alan Power from the reserves into the centre and Paul Jelfs the new reserve. Arthur Beetson had added himself to the reserves in place of Grant Hedger on Tuesday night but pulled out on Wednesday afternoon and reinstated Hedger.
Kevin Hasting was named Superstar Player of the series.
