Michael also played with Easts in 1980. Nobody seems to have a record of this.

Played for Easts 1980 also.

This player was playing for Clovelly as a centre in B grade 1975. He was called up by Jack Gibson
to sit bench for Easts u/23’s rnd 2 at Endeavour field.
He went straight into Reserve grade against
Cronulla that week. He then played in both grades
for the remainder of that season and on 2 weekends as the u23’s and reserves both made
finals. Gibson awarded him the club Rookie of the
Year and Jack took him on the end of year trip
the US. I think there are 8 to 10 appearances
missing from 1975. He played both Front and 2ndRow

Michael was called up in 1975 and played approx
8 games in both u/23’s and reserve grade both of
which made the semi- finals in which he played in
both sides Saturday/Sunday for 2 weekends. He
was named rookie of the year and toured with
club on the end of season trip to the US. His
career should be shown as 1975-1981.
