Souths lost Gary Stevens on Thursday and he was replaced by Darrel Bampton.
Parramatta lost both centres Gary Pethybridge & Peter Langmack on Thursday they were replaced by Ron Graham & John Vincent with Keith Campbell moving from 2nd row to centre.
Max Williamson left the field early in the 2nd half with a head injury and was replaced by Graham Ernst, Graham Lye left the field with injured ribs late in the 2nd half and was replaced by Peter Archibald.
