Biography
At the age of 19 in 1982, fiery second row/prop Lee Crooks became the youngest ever Great Britain Test forward. A talented ball-player and goal-kicker, he spent a successful period with battlers Wests in the mid-1980s but his move to Balmain in 1987 was not as productive. A veteran of three Lions tours (1984, 1988 & 1992) he became the highest paid player in English club football when he left Hull for Leeds on a £170,000 contract.
