Lee Hanlan was one of the best players of the 1990's. Seen him play for Ireland 3 times (not one) he also was the outstanding player at Wakefield Trinity with 9 straight man of match awards, a club record. Leeds and Wigan chased him for years. He also played against the Brisbane Broncos and after the game Darren Lockyer asked me who Lee was, saying he was top notch player. Lee then went on to play at a lower level at Hunslet, Batley and Keighley. I wish he would go into coaching because he had a rugby brain like no other, knew more about the game than most who tried to coach him. Top class player, wish him all the best. From a rugby league fan of 22 years. Come on Bradford Bulls!
