Additional Notes
After winning the Rabbitohs' player of the year (George Piggins Medal) award in 2025, Arrow announced his retirement from rugby league mid-way through the 2026 NRL season, confirming he had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
The Rabbitohs, with the support of the NRL, enacted various fundraising events throughout the remainder of the 2026 season. This culminating in the NRL giving the Rabbitohs special dispensation to name Arrow in their match-day squads in Round 26 v Gold Coast Titans and Round 27 v Sydney Roosters, with the aim of him reaching his 100th club match for Souths.
This allowed the club to name 20 players for the relevant matches (one more than the usual 19). Arrow took the field with his team, stood with them at kickoff and then was immediately interchanged without impacting the Rabbitohs' interchange cap, with those matches then proceeding as normal.
