Biography

Tall centre or second row forward, originally from Wigan, played with the Western Reds during the club’s three troubled seasons in the ARL and Super League competitions. Mather toured Fiji, Papua New Guinea and NZ with the Lions in 1996 and represented England in the 1995 World Cup. Returning to the English Super League in 1998, he joined Castleford.
