Match Notes

Manly lost Graham Eadie & Bob Fulton with the flu & John O'Neill still injured on Friday they were replaced by Alan Maddalena, Ken Irvine & Norm Pounder. Gary Train was originally selected to replace Fulton but he too was unfit so Clare was moved from wing to centre & Irvine returned to the team on the wing.

Barry Andrews broke a finger at Thursday training selectors moved Les Bell from wing to centre & Dave Cotter came in as the new winger.
