John Spencer withdrew from the Balmain team on Friday still not recovered from a hamstring injury Olaf Prattl moved to lock, Greg Fryer to 2nd row & Terry Cross the new prop.

Canterbury replaced Nev Hornery after 15 mins due to a shoulder injury with Graham Herring, in the 2nd half Norm Thomas replaced Ron Costello due to a broken nose.
