Rob Cameron with bruised shoulder & Bob Fulton a corked thigh both withdrew from the Manly team on Friday they were replaced by Bradstreet & Gough, Terry Randall switched to 5/8, Howard Whitaker to centre with Gough on the wing.

NOTE that Rugby League Week lists Rob Cameron as playing and even mentions him in the review but he did not play, daily newspapers all confirm his withdrawal & the following weeks papers mention that he did not play the previous weekend.
