Match was scheduled to be played Sunday 4 March at 4:30pm at North Sydney Oval but due to heavy rain and the match was moved to the Sports Ground on Tuesday 6 March at 8pm.
Easts match winning try scored in the final minute by Kevin Hasting was scored on the 7th tackle and referee Goldsworthy was subsequently dropped to reserve grade.
