The Challenge Cup was suspended after 5 Rounds due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The RFL announced a resumption in July, but Toronto withdrew due to financial restraints, followed by the five non-Super League teams still in the cup - Featherstone, Newcastle, Sheffield, Widnes and York. The RFL decided to redraw the sixth Round with only the remaining Super League clubs taking place.
