Match Notes
Bob Fulton pulled out of the Manly team following Saturdays test against New Zealand due to a knee injury and was replaced by Gary Train.
On Sunday morning Parramatta lost Bob O'Reilly with a corked thigh from Saturday's test match, Graham Lye & Keith Campbell both with leg injuries also Chris Coy & Terry Glover. Russ Devonshire took O'Reilly's place, John Wilson for Lye, McMartin took over from Coy at hooker, Des Mount took Campbell's place in the 2nd row with Denis Fitzgerald moving to lock and was the new captain, Peter Archibald taking Glover's place on the wing.
Max Brown left the field with a hamstring injury in the 1st half he was replaced by Derek Moritz, Gary Train also in the 1st half injured a knee and was replaced by Alan Maddalena.
Bland Liles injured a leg in the 1st half and was replaced by Phil Jelley.
