Bland Liles dropped out of the Parramatta team with a rib injury and was replaced by Jersey Komorowski.
Nev Hornery dropped out of the Canterbury team he was replaced by Denis Beeby.
Canterbury lost both props early in the 2nd half Noonan with torn rib cartlidge & Thomas a sprained ankle they were replaced by 3rd graders Graham Herring & Phil Charlton.
