Biography

I’warra junior snared the fullback role in the merged St George I’warra club in 1999. After playing in the Dragons’ 20-18 grand final loss to Melbourne Patten left the club at the end of the following year to play with the Bulldogs. Since then he has proved to be one of the most consistent players in the game and although rep honours have not eventuated, he played his role in the Bulldogs 16-13 win over the Roosters in the 2004 grand final.

    Patten was the First ever Player Born in the 1980s to play First Grade in the New South Wales Rugby League/Australian Rugby League League/Super League/National Rugby League.
