    Wilson was the First ever player Born in the 1970s to Play First Grade in the New South Wales Rugby League/Australian Rugby League/Super League/National Rugby League.

    Played against him in the 1986 SG Ball grand final, they just beat us but he was a great player and still only 15 years at the time.

    Wilson made his first-grade debut for Souths against Manly-Warringah in Round 8 of the 1988 season. Unfortunately, he had played in the Presidents Cup match earlier, breaking the NSWRL rule that President Cup players could not be used as substitutes/replacement. As a result, Souths were stripped of the 2 points for their 24-14 victory.
