graham riddell says: I worked the Ken Ashcroft at Sargents Bakeries Darlinghust for a good part of my apprenticeship I worked under Ken in the 1960s would love to catch and make contact with Ken if possible (30/01/2012)
Gary says: I also was an apprentice fitter at garter ell white cakes where Kenny worked as a pastry cook, he was a good friend of my father and he gave me my first easts jersey in 66 when I was 3, still have it today. Last time I saw Kenny was at the narrabeen markets maybe 10 years ago and at that stage he was living on the northern beaches (07/11/2015)

Roy Horrigan says: Remember the day at the old Sports Ground when Ken won 21 straight scrums against Ian Walsh who was the Australian hooker at the time. St.George still won , but Ken was a clever competitor. A pastry cook I believe. (08/02/2018)
