Biography
Balmain forward was a standout performer in the club’s 33-4 win over Souths in the 1939 final. Buckley went on to win another premiership with the Tigers in 1944.

I new Dawsey when I was a kid he was a gentle giant and a gentleman. I enjoyed many talks with him at the Gladson park hotel. he gave me his boots when I was 16 when I played football for the first time ,I did not do them justes
