A great guy,I remember a try he scored against the touring French side ,albeit too late for the Magpies to win it,out at the famous Lidcombe Oval on a cold winters night.
I saw him one day when I was very young practicing kicks at Croydon Park Park and asked for some tips ,which he was more than happy to help.
He helped me but I was never destined to be a goal kicker.
    Thank you Dave.

Remember Dave as a very good winger.
He worked at Arnotts Biscuits Company as a Sales Representaptive .I had the pleasure to meet him and make him a good cup of tea when he called at G and G supermarket at Summer Hill.As i was an avid Saint George supporter we had some very lively discussions as to which team would win the next time the Magpies and the Dragons met .Trust he is in good health .TonySaliba

Dave.......What a golfer also, can play to his handicap with ease.......

I think he played as fullback in 1972 for Ryde Eastwood in 2nd Div - they won premiership. It was a tremendous backline with several other ex-First graders. He scored a couple of tries against us at UNSW.
