    I stsrted my career at St Helens in 1967, then to Widnes in 1972, Wigan in 1975, Workington in1977, Oldham in 1978 back to Workington in 1980, loan spell with Whitehaven in 1982, Salford 1982, back to Widnes in 1984, Bridgend 1985 and finished my playing days at Runcorn bowing out in 1988, I would like to know how many games I played in total, I also had a close season in Australia 1978 at Wollongong/ Illawara

    I met Bob about 10 years after he finished playing in a pub inSasolburg, South Africa. We had a great chat. He is a gentleman. Not a bit like his wild man image.

    Bob also played for Runcorn Highfield. Rock hard player too. Always gave 100%.
